Orefine Joins Critical Minerals Roundtable at the University of Nevada, Reno
Last week, our CTO/COO, Kimberly Yearick Spangler PhD, met with industry, government, higher education, and research leaders at the University of Nevada, Reno for a roundtable on lithium mining and critical minerals, hosted alongside the State of Nevada.
What stood out was not any single announcement. It was the room itself.Domestic critical materials processing does not get solved by one company, one agency, or one lab. It takes mining operators, processors, universities, and state leadership working the same problem at the same time - and Nevada has assembled that group better than almost anywhere in the country.
At Orefine, we are focused on developing and deploying domestic critical materials processing to secure the American supply chain. Partnerships like the ones represented in Reno are how that work moves from strategy to capacity on the ground.
Thank you to the University of Nevada, Reno and the State of Nevada for convening it, and to everyone who took part.
